Call Back

I got a second meet-the-staff interview. It's on Monday! Very excited!

Well, yay! And your hair description made me laugh. And here's what I think the deal is on dinners: on Sunday, prep actual meals, or the makings for actual meals, for Monday through Thursday. Chop the veggies, make the pasta sauces and refrigerate, whatever. Friday is eat-out night. Carlyle can certainly do school drop-offs because you only have to be marginally awake and functional for that.

Yes, I will have to develop a system. And assume my husband is capable of, for example, basting a fresh young chicken (gizzards removed for $.50 extra per pound--worth it!) and sticking it in the oven for two hours.

It will be a change, but not necessarily a bad one. Thanks for suggestions from your system. Eating out with two kids is stressful for us--maybe take-out Fridays?
